23 AUGUST 2021: We were most honored with the visit of Puan Norlin Binti Jaafar, the Director General of the Department of Environment on the 23 August 2021 to our office in Glenmarie, Shah Alam. Accompanying her was Encik Wan Abdul Latiff Bin Wan Jaafar, the Deputy Director General (Operation) and Puan Mashitah Binti Darus, the Director of the Air Division, as well as personnel from Seksyen Kawal Selia.
In the 2 hours visit, we were pleased to share with Puan Norlin and her entourage numerous innovative features that the company has developed in implementing the Environmental Quality Monitoring Program, including enhancing on-line QAQC protocols, ensuring real-time QAQC in manual sampling works, as well as our on-line inventory system. In addition, the company’s commitment to continuously identify and assess new monitoring technologies were demonstrated with several odor monitoring approaches to detecting odorous chemicals in the water column.
